Searchpoint Optima Plus from Honeywell
Analytics is a hazardous area certified flammable infrared single point gas detector.
Infrared gas detectors are ideal for applications in the harshest environments or where catalytic poisons may be routinely present. Searchpoint Optima Plus has the fastest speed of response combined with the highest reliability and reduced routine maintenance.
Two versions are available: A Hydrocarbon detector and an Ethylene detector both of which can be calibrated to detect a range of different flammable gases (see table, some calibrations attract an additional charge).
Hazardous area approvals include European (ATEX), North American (UL) and Canadian (CSA).
Output is 3 wire 4-20mA selectable sink or source (to be specified at order placement).
A range of DX/DVC100(I) termination units provide convenient mounting and field wiring connections as well as an intrinsically safe connection socket for the Handheld Interrogator. Additionally, the DX/DVC100(M) termination units provide a multi drop Modbus RS485 interface.
The Handheld Interrogator is a commissioning/maintenance tool and is certified for use in hazardous areas. Other accessories include Duct Mounting kits, Sunshades/Deluge Protections, Storm Baffles and Gassing Caps.
Seachpoint Optima Plus is factory calibrated to accurately detect a specific flammable gas which must be specified at the time of ordering. No cost options for the Hydrocarbon Optima Plus include; Methane, Ethane, Propane and Butane. A further, broad range of hydrocarbon gas calibrations are available at an additional cost (contact JMW for details).
